We kick off the season in the best possible way. Good snow, fine conditions and weather. As the village is situated at an altitude of 1600 metres, and the skiing at 3800 metres, the weather can vary greatly. This means that sometimes the glacier is closed although the weather in the village is beautiful. If the ski system is closed, we will organise other activities such as training and hiking.

Structure/Activities:
If you are not on a Ray, the focus is on starting up. We run Checkpoints with niche areas, where we put together groups based on level and interest/preference. These are about two hours. There will be time for two or three each period. Groups are decided in the evenings and adapted to the weather and requests.

Accommodation:
Our base is Hotel Couronne***+ Read more about the accommodation

Meals:
Organised lunches and dinners that you are welcome to share.

Equipment:
Bring piste skis, comfortable walking shoes, a boot bag and clothes for training/activities.

Ski rental & storage:
If you need to rent skis, we have a discount of approx. 15% at Slalomsport (next to the hotel). Show your Skiers Card. If you want to store your skis up on the glacier, we have a ski room at Trockener Steg.

Travel package:
3 nights sharing a double room, including breakfast, ski pass 3 days and train ticket return from the airport. 2-3 Clinics/Checkpoints: Price from 1 120 CHF/ 11 200 SEK. More options below.
